In my psych class I read about a study done in NYC with cab driver ers. Psychologist dressed as an immigrant. Asked 31 cab drivers to take him to an address one b x block away. One drove him around and took his money. 30 said, "Pal, its a block away. You can walk, and be careful there are lots of nutjobs out there!"
