Something else I love about spring and summer: the quality of sound changes as it travels through the atmosphere; you can HEAR when it is going to be a beautiful day! Even the rumble of trucks on the freeway, and sounding horns and sirens of the not- so-distant city, the rsttle a a of train-tracks thrills me.
